Paper-based cork wallpapers are the same length and width, but may be thinner. They are cheaper than coatings on non-woven fabric, but are also suitable for self-repair.

Self-adhesive wallpaper consists of a film with an adhesive layer and cork veneer. Ideal for decorating perfectly smooth surfaces: aligned walls, glass, metal. Available in standard rolls of 5.5 m.

The most expensive option is cork tile.Its thickness ranges from 3 to 5 mm, the standard size is 30 to 60 cm. Working with tiles is convenient, it is suitable for all surfaces, if necessary, you can replace the damaged area without removing the floor from the entire wall.

Untreated cork has a porous texture, it perfectly isolates sound, but absorbs dust, dirt and grease. To protect walls from stains, special coatings will help: wax or breathable varnish. Coated wallpapers are more expensive, but they last much longer and look more aesthetic.

Pros and cons of cork wallpaper

Having decided to finish the natural cork, you need to know all the advantages and disadvantages of this material. The unconditional advantages include:
