Then he drew a sketch on paper, and began making it.
All walls were tied with 50mm long screws. All connections are planted on PVA glue (advice - no need to spare the glue, it will squeeze out too much). Inside for greater reliability, the seams missed with silicone sealant. In principle, this is not necessary, but it is better to miss the mark and forget than to disassemble again.
Then proceeded to putty. Shpaklevku used car, two-component (You can make the putty yourself, mixing small wood shavings and PVA glue, as an option).When the putty has dried, I polished the body almost to a perfect plane.
Then cut the holes under the phase inverter, the socket, under the handle-pockets.

All my doubts about the correct calculation of the volume of the box in a moment were dispelled - the self-made subwoofer played a soft even bass. Making sure that nothing whistles anywhere, I took off the "hardware" and proceeded to pasting the case with a self-adhesive paper with the texture of the skin. Collected.
